To call Reid Speed a legend would be an understatement; she is the quintessential DJ empress, taking control of any bass-craving dance floor within moments. Originally a mainstay in New York City, Reid began to fly the flag of the underground sounds of 2-step (UK Garage) and speed garage, propelling herself to DJing throughout the city. Within that time, she began amassing residencies for heralded events thrown by Stuck On Earth, Direct Drive and Camouflage. Reid also was responsible for bringing some of garage’s top-tier talent, like MJ Cole and Stanton Warriors, across the Atlantic to play alongside her.
